Eric E. Douglass, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Dr. Douglass is a doctor of physical therapy and is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He has been serving the physical therapy needs of the people of Southwest Florida for over a decade. Dr. Douglass completed his under graduate work at the University of Florida and then graduated Suma Cum Laude from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in 1991. He returned to the Ola Grimsby institute in 2006 and earned fellowship status with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. In 1998 he joined the Ola Grimsby Institute and began a clinical residency program specializing in Orthopedic Manual Therapy of the spine and extremities. He became a Certified Manual Physical Therapist in 2001 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2002. In 2005, Dr. Douglass received his board certification as an orthopedic specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He returned to the Ola Grimsby institute in 2006 and earned fellowship status with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. He is well respected amongst his colleagues and his patients appreciate his skill and dedication. He is committed to keeping abreast of current research and ideas to assure his patients are being provided the latest in scientific & evidence based physical therapy innovations.
Ryan J. Wallace, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC
Dr. Wallace is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a certification in Manual Physical Therapy. Dr. Wallace is a native of Michigan. He graduated Cum Laude from Florida Southern College with a Bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry in 1997. He then continued his education at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and graduated in 1999 with a Master of Physical Therapy degree and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with High Honors in 2006. In 2008, Dr. Wallace was recognized as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Through his dedication to one-on-one quality care and an evidence-based manual therapy approach, Dr. Wallace's patients experience a caring attitude and remarkable outcomes. Dr. Wallace dedicates himself to allowing his patient to work, to play, and to live in the community they enjoy.
Michael J. Braun, PT, DPT, MTC
Dr. Braun is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in evaluation and treatment of the outpatient orthopaedic population. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999, with minors in both chemistry and geography. In 2003, he obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Drexel University. While completing his degree at Drexel University he was able to work at Shriner's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and at Villanova University working with professional and collegiate athletes. In 2006, Dr. Braun completed his Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine. He chose his career in physical therapy to combine his passion for the medical and education fields. His patients enjoy his calm and encouraging attitude. His mission is to help patients achieve their highest level of potential by utilizing communication, knowledge, and outcome oriented care.
Emily K. Bartels, PT, DPT
Dr. Bartels is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2005 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2008 from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Bartels is currently working on achieving her Vestibular, Women's Health and Manual Therapy Certifications. She hopes to address the growing need for these services in SW Florida. Patients enjoy her friendly demeanor and encouragement while achieving their goals for improved function.
Adam Guiliano, PT, DPT
Dr. Guiliano attended Saint Leo University where he received his Associate's Degree in business. At the University of Central Florida he earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports and Fitness. He then completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine, with a specialization in Manual Therapy. Dr. Guiliano entered the profession of physical therapy because of his love for people. Each day he considers it a blessing to help someone overcome an injury or hardship. His goal is for them return to their prior level of function so they will be able to live and enjoy life to the fullest. In serving his patients, Dr. Guiliano strives to implement the latest techniques and treatments utilizing his manual skills to aid in their recovery. His patients describe him as, "very patient, helpful, genuinely professional, inspires trust, challenges, and rebuilds confidence providing a positive experience."
